The hospital has a highly-experienced ophthalmology and optometry team which has earned the first prize in skill competitions both within and outside the province over the years. It is mainly engaged in medical optometry and the correction of ametropia. The hospital has been the first to propose the medical optometry theory and to establish standard flow for medical optometry, which has laid the foundation for the correction of ametropia. Excimer laser center for myopia, visual function training center and MCT orthokeratology lens clinic also have been set up in our hospital. We have used excimer laser, digital MCT, lens implantation and other new technologies to prevent, control and correct myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
